Maze Rampage — Privacy Policy
Maze Rampage (“we”, “our”, or “the App”) is an action-arcade maze shooter that runs entirely on-device. The game does not collect personal data, does not transmit gameplay information to external servers, and is designed with a privacy-first approach.
1. Summary — the quick version
- No ads. Maze Rampage does not display third-party advertising.
- No account required. You can play the game instantly without signing in.
- On-device gameplay: All gameplay data—scores, progress, settings—is stored locally.
- IAP support: Optional in-app purchase packs are managed through RevenueCat.
- No external servers: We do not upload gameplay data, images, or identifiers.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Data stored locally on your device
Maze Rampage stores only the minimum required information for gameplay:
- Your high scores and level progression.
- Local game preferences (sound, controls, sensitivity, difficulty).
- Unlocked weapons, power-up counts, and consumable inventories.
2.2 No personal data collection
The game does not collect personal information such as name, email, location, or unique device identifiers.
2.3 Diagnostic information (optional)
You may choose—via iOS system settings—to share anonymized crash logs to help improve app stability.
3. In-App Purchases (IAP Packs)
3.1 How IAP purchases work
Maze Rampage offers optional consumable in-app purchase packs that grant additional in-game resources:
- Quick Skirmish Pack — 10 Rockets, 10 Lasers
- Conqueror's Arsenal Pack — 100 Rockets, 100 Lasers
3.2 RevenueCat
We use RevenueCat (via react-native-purchases) to manage purchase validation and entitlements, similar to how subscriptions are handled in other apps. This allows the App Store to process your payment and RevenueCat to confirm that the purchase was successful.
RevenueCat may receive:
- Purchase receipts
- Entitlement verification data
- Basic device information required for fraud prevention
No gameplay data, weapon usage, or personal identifiers are shared.

3.3 Payment processing
All payments are handled securely through Apple. We do not have access to your payment card details at any time.
4. How we use your data
- To save and restore gameplay progress and power-up counts locally.
- To validate IAP entitlements via RevenueCat after purchase.
- To improve stability using optional crash diagnostics.
5. Third-party services we use
5.1 RevenueCat
Purpose: manage IAP receipt validation and entitlements.
Data shared: receipts, entitlement tokens, anonymized device information required for verification.
5.2 Platform services (Apple)
Apple processes payments and may provide anonymized crash reports if you have opted in at the OS level.
6. Where your data is stored
- On your device: All gameplay data, weapons, progress, and settings.
- RevenueCat/Apple: Purchase receipts and purchase validation information only.
7. How long we keep your data
Local gameplay data stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. RevenueCat and Apple retain purchase receipts according to their policies.
8. Your choices
- Delete gameplay data: Uninstalling the app removes all local data.
- Manage purchases: You may request refunds or manage IAP history via your Apple ID.
- Opt-out of diagnostics: Control this in iOS Settings → Privacy.
9. Children
Maze Rampage is rated 13+ for mild cartoon violence. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
10. Security
We rely on platform-level security provided by iOS and do not transmit personal data externally.
11. International transfers
RevenueCat may process receipt information in jurisdictions outside your country, as required for purchase validation.
12. Policy updates
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Updates will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
